File with the court

You’re ready to file your divorce

Your documents are signed and notarized. The last step is yours: you file them with the {{ fwCountyLabel }} clerk through Florida’s court ePortal. This guide walks you through it screen by screen and gives you every value to copy and paste, so nothing gets mistyped.

You’ll need about 20 minutes, an ePortal account, and a card for the clerk’s filing fee ({{ fwFee }}). You can pause and pick up where you left off.

Exchange with your spouse and keep, do not file

Because you chose to keep your financial affidavits private, you exchange these with your spouse and keep your copies. Do not upload them to the court.

{{ xd.title }}
The {{ fwCountyLabel }} clerk’s filing fee is {{ fwFee }}. You pay it on the ePortal with your own card at the end of filing. We never handle this payment.

When the clerk accepts your filing, you’ll get an email with your court case number. Enter it here to mark your case as filed. Your deadlines will start tracking automatically.

What to bring

  • A photo ID for each person attending.
  • Your own copy of the filed packet.

Upload your final judgment

After the judge signs, the court gives you the stamped Final Judgment. Upload your copy to keep it with your case. A PDF is best; a clear photo or scan (JPG or PNG) is fine.

Bring your spouse in

Your answers are in. Your spouse gets their own private, secure access to review what you have entered, add their own details, and confirm the things you have both agreed on. Nothing is final until you have both reviewed and signed.

Waiting on your spouse

We have sent your spouse their own secure invitation. Once they have reviewed the answers, added their details, and confirmed, your documents will be generated from your answers. We will email you the moment that happens.

Paused for now

Your spouse let us know you are not fully agreed on something yet. That is completely normal. We have paused here so nothing moves ahead by accident, and someone from our team will reach out to help you both work it through. Nothing has been filed.

Your documents are ready to review. Open each one to read it before you approve.
